Day 1 – Welcome to Cairo
Arrive in Cairo, check into your 5-star hotel, and enjoy a relaxed evening with the group.
Day 2 – Pyramids of Giza & Ancient Egypt
Visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, followed by time at either the Old Egyptian Museum or Saqqara, including a camel ride experience.
Day 3 – Flight Cairo-Luxor, Nile Cruise
Cairo airport to fly to Luxor, where you'll board your luxurious cruise ship comfortably in time for lunch at 1 pm
Day 4 – Nile Cruise Luxor-Esna
Early breakfast, then depart for Luxor’s West Bank. Explore the Valley of the Kings, home to the vividly painted tombs of Theban royalty.
Day 5 – Nile Cruise Esna - Kom Ombo
Nile to Edfu: you'll disembark at noon to explore the massive facade and echoing halls of the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god, Horus
Day 6 – Nile Cruise Kom Ombo - Aswan
Begin your final full day with an early visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo, uniquely dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus.
Day 7 – Aswan - Cairo
Disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport for your return flight to Cairo. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Do I need a visa to visit Egypt?
Yes. U.S. citizens can obtain a visa on arrival in Cairo or apply online for an e-visa before departure. Detailed instructions will be provided after booking.
Is international airfare included?
No. Flights to and from Cairo are not included. Guests are responsible for arranging their own airfare.
Is travel insurance required?
Yes. Travel and medical insurance are required for all McXotic Tours travelers. This protects your investment and is mandatory for participation.
What is the group size?
This is a small-group experience. Expect 14–22 travelers for a more intimate and personalized journey.
Can I join the trip as a solo traveler?
Absolutely. Many travelers join solo. A single supplement is available for those who prefer their own room.
Are payment plans available, and how much is the deposit?
Yes. Flexible monthly payment plans are available.
Deposits depend on your room type:
$350 deposit per person for double occupancy
$500 deposit for single occupancy (private room)
Your deposit secures your spot and activates your monthly payment plan.
What level of physical activity is required?
Moderate. Expect walking on uneven ground, stairs at historical sites, and warm weather. The group moves at a comfortable pace.
What happens after I book?
You’ll receive a welcome email, invoice, updates, packing guide, and access to the group WhatsApp chat.
Are optional tours included?
No. Experiences like the Hot Air Balloon over the Valley of the Kings are optional add-ons.
What is the refund policy?
Deposits are refundable within 24 hours of booking. After 24 hours, deposits and payments are nonrefundable. Travel insurance is required to protect your investment.
